Vasili Ikonomidis
Chief Information Officer
Vasili leads the Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity functions across the enterprise, including both the Reston/MIS and the AdvanceMed/CMS teams.
He brings over two decades of experience leading advanced IT programs and is well regarded for transforming underperforming contracts into successful, highly responsive programs through best practices and innovative technology. Before joining Empower AI, he held IT management positions at NetCentrics, Advanced Systems Development Inc., CACI, Creative Information Technology Inc., and Dynamics Research Corporation.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from York College of Pennsylvania and serves as Advisory Board Chair for Inspire Leadership Network’s CapitalCIO, the region’s peer network for CIOs.
