Jennifer Sample, PhD
Chief Technology Officer
Jennifer is responsible for driving Empower AI's technology vision, strategy and execution, ensuring that solutions deliver strategic value and meet the goals and expectations of every mission.
She brings over two decades of experience driving impactful initiatives in artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced computing. Previously Data & AI Managing Director at Accenture Federal Services, she was entrusted with shaping and executing the AI strategy. Jennifer also held leadership positions at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), where she led research and development for intelligence and defense agency customers on initiatives such as Project Maven.
Jennifer holds 10 patents, a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
