Laura leads the people strategy across HR operations, talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, HRIS, and learning and development.

With more than 30 years of executive HR leadership in government contracting, Laura has served as CHRO at Oasis Systems (now Astrion) and as Vice President of Human Resources at MAR, Inc., where she oversaw all HR operations for a diverse workforce supporting U.S. Navy and federal agency programs.

At Empower AI, she oversees a workforce of more than 1,000 employees. A people-first leader known for building trust and driving measurable engagement gains, Laura holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland and is active in SHRM's National Capital Region chapter.
