What We Do
Empower AI uses innovative technologies and their specialized platform to support federal missions and empower agency personnel to solve unique government challenges.
Empower AI (formerly NCI Information Systems), a leading provider of information technology solutions and professional services to the U.S. government, has been awarded a task order with the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command’s Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate (USAISEC) for IT services and engineering support. The task order has a total value in excess of $45 million if all options are exercised.
Under the Total Engineering and Integration Services IV contract vehicle, Empower AI will survey, design, procure, install, and modernize Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). As part of the task order, USAISEC also will have Empower AI oversee project implementation and closeout activities, ensuring the upgrade or replacement of existing network infrastructure at Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).
“Delivering integrated healthcare across the Department of Defense requires secure, reliable networks that provide the necessary data and records,” says Empower AI CEO Jeff Bohling. “This modernization effort will improve service delivery to military personnel, veterans and their families, while also taking a big step forward in erasing technical debt by modernizing legacy systems.”
During the first year and potentially for two option years, the work will be performed at MTFs and Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) across both the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.
